Entropic Party
2018
Watercolour, Sumi ink, oil pastel and air-drying clay on watercolour paper
29.7 × 21 cm | Unframed
Entropic Party emerges from an experimental drawing process using a wearable clay glove fitted with drawing and painting tools. Movement, pressure and chance drive the image as marks scatter, collide and accumulate across the paper, creating a field that feels restless, playful and unstable.
The work takes its title from entropy: the gradual dispersal of order into something less predictable. Here, that shift becomes visual, not as collapse but as a lively release of energy across the surface.
